Edge of Guibourtia - Pteleopsis dry forest.-x000D- Notes: Large tree to 16 m, dbh 42 cm. Bark fissured, grey. Leaves bipinnate. Flowers white, thecae yellow. Pods (on ground) angular, dark brown. Locally common on dry forest margin.

Epiphytic orchid on Englerophytum tree branch, with long thick aerial roots. Narrow linear leaves. Some fruit capsules.

Grass to 40cm,tufted, hard to dig out. Inflorescence very narrow, purple-tinged, anthers hanging out. When seeding, glumes opening widely, very hairy, whitish.

Tree to 4 m. Long spicate axillary inflorescence, greenish-white with yellow anthers. Many ants farming scale insects.

Tree to 6 m. Leaves large, ribbed, clustered terminally. Fruits axillary, very hard, many-seeded, in 2s.
